Srinagar, October 15 Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that intolerance in India is growing on Kashmir, as the people who talk about Kashmir are being assaulted even in their chambers.
Yasin Malik in a media interview in Srinagar said that despite peaceful liberation movement in the territory, the Kashmiri pro-freedom leaders were beaten and humiliated in seminars in India in full public gaze. “Whoever talks of Kashmir in India is made target of hooliganism even if he is in the chambers of Indian Supreme Court,” he deplored.
The JKLF Chairman maintained that such vicious acts were open violation of people’s democratic rights. Kashmiri people, whose every locality is dotted with martyrs’ graveyards, will not be cowed down by hooliganism of these goons and thugs. The Government of India does not deliberately take any action against these goons thereby encouraging them to indulge in such undemocratic acts,” he stated.
Yasin Malik also expressed serious concern over the plight of illegally detained Kashmiris lodged in Udhampur and Kot Bhalwal jails demanding their immediate release.
