Policeman hurt in Anantnag

Anantnag, October, 25: After few hours of Grenade attack at Lal Chowk Srinagar in which three CRPF men got critically injured, one more police man got injured at Bus Stand Anantnag  at the time when unidentified gunman fired on him at a very close range.
Injured Police man identified as  Anzar Ahmad Mogal 1935/R a constable of police post General Bus Stand,  was shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.
Police cordeened the area and strated search operation so far as police has detained 2 people
“We have lodged an FIIR and we have started investigation.” SHO Anantnag said.
Earlier in the day, three paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force troopers were injured in two grenade attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar.
Tuesday's attacks have come ahead of the likely announcement by the state government revoking the controversial Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) from certain areas of the state.
