ncompetence of NC has exposed its antipeople programme::: Mir NC leader Gull Mohd Joins PDP

Srinagar, December, 25 :  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  general secretary Mohammed Dilawar Mir has accused the coalition government of complete failure with its leaders escaping to comforts of their luxuries, leaving common people  of the state to bear the negative impact of its misgovernance. Mir was addressing a function at Warpoa Kund Qazigund. Senior party leader and deputy speaker Mohammed Sartaj Madni was also present. NC Halqa president Warpora  Gull Mohd Bhat joined the PDP on this occasion.

Welcoming Bhat in the party fold Dilawar Mir said “The incompetence of NC govt has exposed their antipeople agenda which has reached its peak as the people are facing huge shortage of ration, power crisis, LPG shortage and a complete breakdown of basic amenities.”  He said that the rampant corruption has added to the miseries of the people  and the Omar led dispensation instead of addressing the problems has confined itself to photo opportunites and hollow promises.Mir said the PDP is the only party who has and even has proved to be the real representative of the people by its pro people policies and agenda. the  revolutionary steps taken by the government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the development and socio-economic growth of the people of the state,Senior Party Leader, Mohammed Sartaj Madni in his address said that NC govt has always hoodwinked people by making false promises by doling out hollow statistics to get votes. He said that Omer Abdullah govt has put the state of electricity in reverse gear and despite making a huge sell out of feasible power projects without any agreement of whatsoever, valley continues to suffer from immense power shortage. He said that rations depots are deserted and LPG shortage has added to the already created chaos by the NC govt failures in the valley.Speaking on this occasion Gull Mohd Bhat NC said that he was impressed with the policies and the programme of PDP. He also said the the performance of PDP- Congress govt led by PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Said had impressed him.Accusing the NC led govt for making hollow promises and befooling people of the state Bhat said that Omar Abdullah him self had in his election campaigning promised for providing the jobs to 8th pass but all has turned into hollow and today high qualified youth are depriving for menial jobs. The slogan of this govt “Meter Todo heater Lagaw” has changed into total hollow and instead of providing adequate power supply people have been charged with double fee with no electricity.
