Srinagar, December 29: MLA Engineer Rasheed has said that any dialogue process on Kashmir cannot be result-oriented and lasting unless the United Jihad Council is made a part of it.
Addressing a gathering in Kupwara, Engr. Rashid said, “Inclusion of UJC in negotiations is must.”
He asked National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party to identify a common ground for the larger interests of traumatized Kashmir.
“The ongoing war of words between NC and PDP is adding to the sufferings of Kashmiris. Both the parties claim to be working for the people, but the politics of blame-game is harming the interests of the people. If they are sincere in their claims, then they should identify a common ground and join hands at least for the basic purpose to provide relief to common people.”The MLA added, “Instead of sloganeering, NC and PDP should seriously work on ground to address the political aspirations and basic problems of people.”
