Saahil Suhail Kulgam, Dec 29: While stating that kulgam police will continue its drive against the Drug menace in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District, SP Kulgam Maqsood-u- Zaman said that with the cooperation of public, police is expecting a major breakthrough in this regard. Briefing Press in a Press conference here in Police Station Kulgam, SP Kulgam Said, “Police in its efforts against anti-social elements on Thursday arrested 6 persons and recovered 2oo bottles of liquor, 2kg’s of Fukki and 2kg’s of Charas. Separate cases have been registered in the police station Kulgam against the accused while further investigations is underway.” adding that we started a special drive against the drug trafficking in the District.
According to a press release issued here, Police have arrested Ravinder Singh S/o Preitem Singh Resident of Burman Udamphur, Manzoor Ahmad S/o Gh Mohi-ud-Din resident of Shamsipora Qaimoh, Shabir Ahmad Mir S/o Ab Gani resident of Bogam , Iliyas Ahmad Sofi S/o Fayaz Ahmad and Shahid Hamid Bhat s/o Ab Hamid resudents of Khudwani and have recovered illict liquir, fukki and charas from them .
Further SP Said that the police teams were lead by DSP Kulgam and SHO Kulgam
