Harassment of people in Tral by police denounced

Srinagar, December 27:The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that India is working on new tactics to suppress the liberation movement has unleashed cultural invasion in  Kashmir involving the Kashmiri youth in moral perversity.

The APHC Chairman was speaking while presiding over a meeting of Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema in Srinagar, today. He pointed out that India’s objective was to divert the Kashmiri people’s attention away from continuing their just struggle for securing the right to self-determination. The Mirwaiz maintained that such nefarious designs would not be allowed to succeed.

On the other hand, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R, Farooq Ahmed Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly denounced the torturing and harassment of people by Indian police personnel in Tral. He said that such tactics could not intimidate the Kashmiris into submission.
