We want AFSPA and other black laws to go: Omar

PDP playing politics on AFSPA, Supporting Army
Kokernag, Dec. 05: while stating that State Government wants to revoke all backs including AFSPA that were imposed during the period of Militancy in the state, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah,  on Monday alleged on  Peoples Democratic Party and said that they are doing politics on the issue and or supporting Army.
Omar Abdullah while addressing a large gathering at Lessar Kokernag said. “We want to revoke all Back Laws including AFSPA from State that were imposed in the valley from last several years.” Adding that unfortunately PDP is supporting the Army and also is doing politics on the issue.
He alleged on PDP of using double standards and said. “PDP is supporting Army and has said in New Delhi that without the consent of Army AFSPA should not be revoked.” Adding that I challenge them come and say Kashmir, what you have said in New Delhi about the revocation of AFSPA.
Earlier Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Inaugurated 50MV Sub Grid Station at Lessar Kokernag, who was accompanied by Education Minister, Peer Zada Mohd Syed, Higer Education Minister, Ab Gani Malik, Shabir Ahmad, Minister For Power and others.
Underlying the importance of Peace in the valley, Omar Abdullah said that 2011 remained peaceful in the valley and whole credit goes to the general public and said that by prevailing peace in the valley we can bring economic, social prosperity in the region.
He thanked Peer Zada Mohd Syed for reaming in touch with the public and for solving their problems in the Kokernag area of South Kashmir, where thousands of people participated in the rally organized by Education Minister. 
Omar Abdullah Said that power cuts will continue in the valley until the people stop using illegal power.
“State government has loss of 2000 cores every year in power department.” Adding that public should pay their power bills before due day so that government will be in a condition to stop the loss and construct more and more power station and also make transmission line better.
On the occasion he also announced that after Jammu, a DG Recruitment drive will be launched in the area.
He said that coalition government is running smoothly in the state and their was never any problem between the two partners. He maintained that congress cabinet ministers are doing good job in the government for the public, he also said that state government will receive ration from April 2012 as per the census of 2011.
