It can also prove that the construction by affluent people having connections with state politicians have raised the structures during the strikes and now-a-days violators continue work as police officials and PDA Staff roams in the area as if to provide security to the violators.

Inside sources revealed that due to nexus between officers in Pahalgam development authority with top politicians, businessmen construction of huts and hotels continue to Movera and other areas.
According official documents, Pahalgam development authority has not even dared to touch the under construction huts of at least 12 people including top Srinagar based business men which include Ab Rashid Bhat alias Rashid Sabzi Resident of Ganshibal Aishmuqam, Siraj -ud-Din , a businessman and Srinagar resident, Manzoor Ahmed Tarray resident of Katoo, Mohd Iqbal resident of Anantnag, Muzaffer Ahmad resident of Srinagar, Tariq Ahmad Bhat resident of Srinagar, Mustaq Ahmad resident of Thajiwara Bijbehara, Riyaz Ahmad resident of Ganshibal Pahalgam and Ab Majeed Khan resident of Movera Pahalgam.
According to official letter of Pahalgam Development Authority addressed the Hon'ble Principal District & session Judge Anantnag on 18-July 2013, authority has deployed a full-fledged squad to control the ongoing construction but according to locals told early times that they have seen any so-called squad hence the authority is misleading not only people but the Hon'ble court. Further the letter reads that constructions have been raised during night hours and SHO Pahalgam has demolished the structure but on ground nothing has been done.
Above mentioned violators has constructed the structures within the distance of 100 meters from Lidder and because of their links with sitting ministers of the state, Pahalgam development authority citing the reasons of Law and Order problem that is for from the ground reality, have not even dared to touch the constructions.
Locals told early times that affluent people continue to construct the hotels and huts besides a ban over the construction while as the common massed continue to suffer due to the ban.
