Saahil Suhail,Anantnag, October 29: Stating that their was no need of APSPA and DDA now in some areas of State as the graph of militancy is continuously going down , CPI(M) General Sectary and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami on Saturday while talking to media on the sidelines of a function at Dak-Bangloo Khanabal, said that they will launch a massive campaign to fight against the corruption, price rise especially for revoking of laws in the state .
He said, “Last assembly session got waste and we could not put the grievances of general people in the house especially of farmers but we hope in coming session we can do.” adding that state government is lacking the redrassal mechanism and delivery system.
He said that all the political parties should leave their own interests and should share a common plate form for the revocation of APSPA and DDA as the center government as well as state government has promised with the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the revocation of those laws. He suggested state government to start a dialogue process with center government so that both can make a strategy by which the laws could be revoked immediately from certain areas of state with out playing politics on it.
He said, “I am not sure that the state cabinet is going to announce the revocation DAA from certain areas because both coalition partners are in confusion while taking decisions,” adding that as per the constitution state cabinet is enough competent under clasue 3rd to revoke the disturbed area act.
Tarigami said while addressing a large gathering of Kissan Tehreek Activists who on satarday orgainised 6th two days farmers convention, with improved security situation, CPI (M) has always been stressing for removal of these draconian laws. "Since there is marked improvement in the overall security situation in the state, time has come to revoke this law at least from certain areas at the first instance," he said.
He said that farmers and youth has every time supported every movement that raised in the state as in the last year 120 youth gave their lives, even before that farmers of the state have also done the same but the injustice was done by every political atmosphere with them but now doing injustice with those sections could not be tolerated at all and we raise voice against it
State government should learn a lesson from labiya, sariya and other countries as the movement in those countries and other Asian countries has started.
