Srinagar, October 27 All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has described 27th October as the blackest day in the history of Kashmir and said that the Indian atrocities could not stop Kashmiris from their struggle for right to self-determination.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq talking to media in Srinagar said that it was on 27th October in 1947 when India landed its troops in Srinagar and forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir in total disregard to the partition plan of the Subcontinent and against the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The APHC Chairman said that Kashmiris had been struggling for the last over six decades to get rid of Indian bondage and would continue their struggle till complete success, adding that the world community was also supporting Kashmiris’ liberation struggle.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stressed the international community to help stop India from massive human rights violations in the occupied territory and resolve the dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations.
