Srinagar, February 07: In Kashmir, various pro-freedom leaders have expressed profound grief and sorrow over demise of the mother of Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Sheikh Abdul Aziz and prayed for the deceased and sympathised with the bereaved family.
All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) senior leader and the Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar condoled the demise and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family
APHC leader and the Chairman of National Front, Nayeem Ahmad Khan visited Pampore, paid tributes to the deceased and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
The Chairman of Democratic Peoples Movement (DPM), Firdous Ahmad Shah, while speaking at the condolence meeting at the deceased residence, paid glowing tributes to her. He described the deceased a pious, virtuous and righteous Muslim woman.
Paying rich tributes to the deceased, Kashmiri liberation leader Javed Ahmad Mir prayed for the deceased and sympathized with bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leaders, Mehmood Ahmed Sahgar, Ghulam Nabi Nowshiri, Farooq Rehmani, Tufail Altaf, Hassan-ul-Bana and members of Kashmiri community settled in Islamabad and Rawalpindi visited the residence of Sheikh Yaqoob and expressed solidarity with him on the death of his mother.
