Omar, Soz leave for New Delhi “NC, Congress high commands want to strengthen coalition govt’

To sort out the differences, if any, between coalition partners National Conference and Congress after the recent developments, high command of both the parties is making tireless efforts to strengthen the coalition, sources said.They said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who flew to New Delhi form here on Sunday is scheuled to hold meetings with Congress top brass during his visit. “State Congress President, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz who was scheduled to address a meeting in Jammu today also flew to New Delhi,” sources said.
They said Soz declined to talk to media in Jammu before he left for New Delhi.“Both (Omar and Soz) are expected to hold meetings with Congress high command where recent developments would be discussed. The high command of both the parties is making efforts to strengthen the coalition government in the state,” they added.
Meanwhile, sources said Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohi-ud-Din returned back to Jammu from New Delhi on Sunday after meeting Ahmad Patel and Ghulam Nabi Azad. “He (Taj) was told by the senior Congress leaders to work for strengthening of the coalition and avoid making any statements against each other,” they added.
Senior Vice President, G N Monga said that there was direction from the high command to strengthen the coalition. “Congress is sincere in running the coalition. Peace in Kashmir and solution of people’s problems is our aim,” he added
