“Army upgraded 3 schools in South Kashmir”

Qazigund, Feb 18: Stating that Army has declared the year 2012 for the peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir, GOC Victor Force, Major General Gurdeep Singh on Satarday, said that 2011 remained peaceful with the support of all sectors of Society including Media.

While, talking to media on the sidelines of the Function at Qazigund, GOC Said, “2011 remained peaceful with support of all sectors, like Police CRPF, Administration especially media and we will continue to work for the peace and prosperity of the state.”

He said that army will also continue to provide quality education in the schools run by Army in the valley.

“We are upgrading our schools in well planned strategy, presently in this year, we upgraded three schools in south Kashmir to secondary levels and this is a continuous process.” GOC Victor Force Said, adding that our main focus is all round development of the students enrolled in our Schools.

Addressing a large gathering of Students, parents and teaching staff of Army Good Will School Wazur, GOC Victor Force, who was accompanied by Commander 2 Sector RR, Sanjay Gupta,  showed satisfaction over the 8^th standard results and stressed upon students o work hard for bright future.

Later in the Function GOC Victor Force Major General Gurdeep Singh Disrupted appreciation cards among some officers and media persons including Saahil Suhail, for the extra ordinary work done by them for the cause of peace and prosperity.
