Early Times Report
Srinagar, November 11, 2018: Since the downfall of PDP-BJP collation
Government in Jammu and Kashmir, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) legislator prefers
to do his business instead of working for public.
According to reports, the legislator has returned back to
Kashmir only to shoot a commercial advertisement at a famous hill-station.
They said that the day PDP-BJP collation Government fell, Legislator
left valley and begin to do his business of making films and commercial advertisements.
“He is back with his unit to shoot a commercial advertisement
at different places in Kashmir,” sources privy to development told Early Times
over phone.
They said that the PDP legislator was doing the same work in
some foreign countries instead of reaching out to public and helping them.
“This legislator has got funds for development but we fail
to understand how he spends the same as he has never visited any area to identify
works of public importance,” claimed sources.
They said that the legislator wasn’t playing the role he is
supposed to and instead of remaining in touch with public prefers to do his business.
“He must resign as MLC if he isn’t satisfied and at the same
Governor administration must devise mechanism and held these legislators accountable
and make them to work for public,” a senior officer opined.
He said that legislators were taking fat salaries but not
working as per the norms. “Most of the legislators have stopped going to their
constituencies after 2016 agitation,” he added.
