Mufti, Mehbooba greet people on the occasion of Deepawali
Jammu, October 25: Former Chief Minister and patron of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti have greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali-the festival of lights.
In a message, PDP leaders extended their warm greetings and good wishes to the people on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Deepawali.
PDP leaders said Deepawali symbolised the elimination of all negative forces that impede our progress and development. May the glow of Diwali fill the lives of our people with happiness and prosperity, they stated.
Greeting people on the this auspicious occasion, PDP leaders further said Diwali symbolises the triumph of good over evil, of light over darkness, of truth over untruth. “May the noble ideals of the festival prevail and usher in peace, prosperity and happiness in lives of people of Jammu and Kashmir,” they stated.
