The Srinagar Leh Nation Highway has been closed for traffic due to fresh snowfall at Zojjila and adjacent areas, an official said here on Wednesday. According to the official there is still light snowfall in Drass and adjacent areas due to which the road is closed till further orders.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Transport Qamar Ali Akhone said that the road will remain open till of November 15 subjected to weather condition.
The Kargil Zanskar road will also remain closed till further orders due to snowfall at Rangdum and Penzilla, the official said.
