Srinagar, Dec 14: Expressing her deep shock over death of Tariq Ahmed Bhat, a shopkeeper of downtown, Mehbooba Mufti president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today demanded strong action against those who were responsible for his death.
In a statement issued here today, Mehbooba Mufti said that coercion has no place in the society and we condemned strongly the way Tariq is reported to have injured in the broad day light which ultimately led to his unfortunate death. She said that politics can not be enforced through use of strong arm methods and those responsible for Tariq’s tragic death must be brought to book.
She conveyed her deep sympathy to the family of Tariq and prayed for the peace of eternal.
