NC led regime pursuing anti-employees policies: PDP

Kathua, Dec 11: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today flayed the National Conference led coalition regime for adopting anti working class policy in the state.
Addressing one day convention of the district Kathua unit of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Trade Union-the labour wing of PDP,  Thakur Balbir Singh general secretary of PDP lambasted the coalition regime for adopting adamant attitude in solving long pending demands of the employees. The one day convention was organized by Randeep Singh Jasrotia with the support of Suresh Sharma, president of the labour wing of the party.

Thakur Balbir Singh said that due to anti-people policies of the coalition regime every section was annoyed with this government. He further added that employees and unemployed youth are the worst victim of the wrong policies of the coalition regime and anger among employees and unemployed educated youth has been increasing.
Responding to the demands raised by the employees, Thakur Balbir Singh demanded that arrears of Sixth Pay Commission should be given to the employees. Furthermore, he demanded that long pending demands of the Public Sector Employees should also be addressed as early as possible. He also expressed his concern over hardship being faced by ReT teachers and agriculture technocrats engaged under ReZ schemes. He also demanded that all daily wagers who have completed sever years of services should be regularized.
Singh said that during the last three year this government has done nothing to solve problems of the people. He said that on the one hand unemployed youth have been agitating against newly announced recruitment policy of the state government while as on the other hand, government employees have been agitating for their just and genuine demands. 
Suresh Sharma, in his address said that this regime has failed to solve problems of the employees. He regretted that government was not interested to solve problems of the government employees. He warned that labour wing of PDP would launched a movement against the present regime.
Representatives from different government departments attended one day convention in which district unit of the labour wing of PDP was constituted.
