Srinagar: Senior separatist leader and Chairman Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmad Shah on Tuesday visited Wamiq Farooq’s residence and offered his condolences to the bereaved family.
Earlier Shah went to the Martyr’s graveyard (Mazar-e-Shuda) and prayed for the departed souls. On the occasion Shah claimed that separatists were the custodians of those who laid their lives seeking Independence for the state. He vowed that the blood will not be let go wasted.
Meanwhile, urging international community to play their role in solving the Kashmir dispute, Shah said that Kashmir was never a border dispute between India and Pakistan. “This is an issue pertaining to the political future one and a half crore people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Shah was accompanied by Abdul Rashid Antoo, Abdul Majeed Wani and others.
