Saahil Suhail, Anantnag, Nov 05: Ahead of Eid, Ashmuqam Police, Municipal Officer Ashmuqam and Naib Tehsildar Ashmuqam conducted a joint market checking in Ashmuqam market. During the market checking a fine of Rs. 2900 was recovered from the erring shopkeepers, besides, rotten, vegetables, fruits and spurious sweets about one quintal was destroyed on the spot.
The market checking squad also booked three shopkeepers under the provision of Essential Commodities Act
